Abekta is a knowledge-base created by Khan Asad, a struggling astronomer and an assistant professor at the Department of Physical Sciences, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). He runs the Computational & Observational Astronomy Lab ([[https://coalab.space|COALab]]), a research lab of IUB. But everything expressed in this website are his personal views and do not represent IUB in any way whatsoever.

The website is named after [[wp>Jagadish Chandra Bose|Jagadish Chandra Basu's]] book //[[https://bn.wikisource.org/wiki/%E0%A6%85%E0%A6%AC%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%AF%E0%A6%95%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%A4|Abyakta]]// (অব্যক্ত); //Abekta// is a medieval spelling of //Abyakta//.
